Lantek Expert III Sales has been specially designed to cater for all those needs associated with the sales cycle of a company in the sheet metal processing sector.

It allows for full traceability and management of a sales order, and the products or parts it contains. It supplies all the employees involved in the sales process with the necessary information at any given moment.

 

Integration of sales with quotation
and manufacturing process

The different stages involved (quotes, sales orders, manufacturing operations, delivery notes and invoices) are perfectly integrated so the information is automatically relayed from one stage to the next.

For example, when an order is to be invoiced, all that is required is to tell the system which order is involved, and all the information is transferred to the invoice.

Likewise, we can issue production orders in response to sales orders, generating the entire production list required for servicing the order.

 

Management of sales orders

The input of orders may be made either on the basis of an accepted quote, or by creating it specifically or importing a purchase order received from the customer. In the first case, all the products, as well as their prices, are copied in full, with the option available in all cases of modifying all the items on the order and their prices, terms, etc.

The system even allows for including components or parts that already exist in the database. In such cases, it creates them by directly accessing the products module.

The persons responsible for managing these orders are regularly informed of their progress. They can therefore verify, for example, whether a specific product has already been manufactured, or in the case of an assembly, the system informs them of the time remaining for production to be completed. Managed correctly, all this information allows for customers to be provided with a better service and to be kept up-to-date at all times on progress in the production process.

 

Management of sales delivery notes

The despatch of manufactured products is recorded by the module for delivery notes.

In order to facilitate the task of issuing delivery notes, the module provides access to the orders that are to be despatched, and transfers all the data recorded in them. Once the despatch has been made, it is recorded as sent, whilst control is maintained at all times over orders and their status. Nonetheless, delivery notes can be issued directly (without the need for an order).

When a new delivery note is issued, it considers the warehouse stock which would then be updated automatically.

 

Invoicing

Invoicing may be made against a sales order, against a delivery note, or an invoice may be drafted from scratch in a situation where other documentation isn’t required.

 

Sales Analysis

Users of Lantek Expert III Sales may gather information on sales made, grouping the corresponding registers according to various criteria: periods of time, sales rep, countries, business lines, etc.

Using reports and filters, the system allows for comprehensive, updated analyses to be made of their companies Sales Image.
