Lantek expects to grow 20% in 2014, based on the strengthening of its solutions unit and the consolidation of its global presence

Lantek, the leading multinational in software solutions for the metal and metal structures industry, and the heads of its international offices are analyzing and are in the process of drafting its 2013-2015 Strategic Plan at its Miñano headquarters.

Innovation, teamwork, trust, commitment, passion, and connection to the client are the values that define the 2013-2015 Strategic Plan that the market and department heads of the multinational Lantek have recently analyzed at the company’s annual meeting at its Miñano headquarters, along with its technicians and marketers from its other global offices.

The world leader in the development and marketing of software solutions for the metal industry and the machine tools sector, Lantek aims to strengthen its markets this year with total sales volume growth of 20%. The objective? Overturn its strategies in the comprehensive software solutions division to achieve a growth of 105%. That must be done, of course, without neglecting its flagship CAD/CAM division, which will continue its sales growth with an expected increase of 9% this fiscal year.

"Lantek wants to optimize its earnings, improve profitability, and maintain international leadership in our market. Our mission is to develop integrated software solutions for the metal and metal structures industry, providing added value to both our clients, professionals, and shareholders through a consolidated global team with a demonstrated capacity for technological innovation," explains Alberto Martinez, manager of the multinational organization.

Lantek can point with pride to having sustained market growth over the past decade. I It has even shown modest upturns during the worst years of the international economic crisis. In just ten years, the multinational has increased its sales by 123%, reaching 12.18 million Euros in revenue. The company expects to exceed 14.63 million Euros in sales in 2014.

Critical points regarding technology and proper international presence

As pointed out by Joseba Pagaldai, Commercial Director of Lantek, at the end of 2013, the multinational has strengthened its US market, which represents 15% of company sales. The EMEA (Europe, the Middle East and Africa) region, despite a 5% reduction in sales, is becoming the main market, with particularly high activity in Germany, Italy, Spain, Poland and Turkey. In Asia, operations in Korea and China have been in place the longest and have made this region the second most powerful in sales for the multinational.

"The success of Lantek lies in having been leaders in technology and opening its own branches. We have always been at the forefront of technology and we launch operations in every area and country with the equipment and offices necessary to support our partners and manufacturers in both technical and commercial tasks," explains the Commercial Director of Lantek.

As regards particular business lines, at the end of 2013, Lantek has continued to grow its CAD/CAM division, which represents 88% of its market. However, the company's objective is to significantly strengthen its Solutions division, the goal being that it attain 20% of its sales volume.

To guarantee the consolidation of their markets and their leadership in the software solutions sector for the metal and metal structures industry, Lantek has started the year strong, basing its discourse on the Lantek Factory concept that applies to all of those companies that transform metal sheets, tubes, or contours.
