Lantek joins to the Mexican group Disma-Mex and opens office in Mexico
With the purpose to increase its presence in Latin-America, Lantek, a supplier of CAD/CAM software for the sheet metal industry, and Disma-Mex, a supplier of machine tools for the sheet metal industry, opened a new branch office in Mexico D.F. in January 2007.
With the purpose to increase its presence in Latin-America, Lantek Sheet Metqal Solutions S.L. and Grupo Disma-Mex S.A. de C.V. opened a new branch office in Mexico D.F. in January 2007.
The opening of this new branch office is the consequence of the significant growth experienced by Lantek in Mexico in the last years, as well as the promising expectations of sheet metal machine tool consumption in this country.
The creation of this new office has been possible thanks to the effort made by Ms. Rosario Soto, founder and Managing Director of Grupo Disma-Mex SA de CV. Kamelo Osa, Commercial Director of Lantek in Latin-America, highlights that "up till now, we had no offices in Latin-America and we were approaching the market through a network of distributors and OEMs. Due to the growth that Mexico has experienced lately and the future perspectives together with the confidence of Rosario helped us to take the decision to create Lantek Mexico as headquarter office for the Central America operations. By having our own office in Mexico, with our own staff exclusively trained for the commercialization and support of our products and helped by the experience of a solid team as Disma-Mex with more than 20 years distributing all kind of machines for the sheet metal industry, we can guarantee a high quality service for our Mexican customers and machine tool manufacturers and also increase our international presence."
Lantek`s branch office in Mexico is made up by a team of four people, dedicated to commercial activities and technical support to customers, distributors and OEMs.
